Quap

Quap is my little Notikaron, a Jewish conflation of words, mine is "Quick + Recap"
Henceforth, here's a quick recap:

Things I've Done: I've been to Simhah Torah, a festival celebrating the reading from the beginning of the Torah, played Soccer in Arad, jumped cliffs in Arbel, swam in the mediterranean, engedi springs, gohan heights springs, and other springs, and sea of galilee and dead sea without proper swim attire. I've been to the "Taste of Jerusalem," the holocaust musuem yad vashem w/ Schindler's List and a tree he planted, witnessed two burning fires, gone to the israel museum with a gigantic second temple model and the dead sea scrolls, eaten many things i don't want to eat again like purple fried beans and a fruit that tastes like milky kiwi and lots and lots of rice and beans and a special red sauce, i've browsed cemeteries, gone past numerous "do not go past this sign" signs (mostly with my physical settings class following our instructor), i've studied torah under a Rabbi, have had my perspective revamped on Jewish thought, i've just found out the glory of peanut butter + bananas, and i've accomplished the art of bartering. It took me a while. I was ripped off once long ago on a small purchase.

I miss home and family and friends. I like it here, but the semester's getting really jammed and stressed and time's running out, and to distract me from the fact that I have to leave in three weeks my teachers were so nice and gave me four final exams and two twelve page papers...I'm enthralled. Pray that I can study like a fox for hebrew, and everything else should fall into place :)

PS: that's me in a "Simpsonized" form when i was a mailman two summers ago :)
