Today we saw the old city: Vendors, the Temple Mount (outer area) with the holiest of holies Wailing Wall, alleged Garden of Gesthemene and Entryway Damascus gate where Stephen was stoned (by Christian tradition [but more likely untrue since that gate wasn't built back when Stephen was stoned). But still cool.
We saw the new city yesterday; its far more open and restaurant oriented. So, Old City's where its at! Classes start tommorow, i'm looking forward to it!
The campus is great; grapes and pomegranates on the trees around us, we're close to the city right by the wall. It's awesome. I can't wait for all the field trips I'll be taking in my "Physical Settings of the Bible" class. We're going everywhere! Whelp, I'm out!
